Pong..!! Our Pong Scratch Game :))
Today in Tech class we revised a game called Pong4 on Scratch. It was exciting because we got to use whatever we wanted as the ball. I personally used Stewie’s head. I also included a crib so that his head could bounce off of that. My background was his room. In the beginning the sound was water dripping but then I changed it to a male screaming. How cool is that ^_^ !!!
Then after we finished our games we turned them in and went around the Tech classroom to play our TEAMmates games. I like the games that had the really funny sprites and sounds. But there was one game in particular that had a whole lot of potential, but was missing the sound. I mean come on now, that’s the best part!!

Chicken Noodle Soup Time!!!!!!
Today in Tech class we edited a game titled 2 ChickenNoodleSoup. This was our steps as we went through this process.
1.) Took a picture on Google Chrome webcam.
2.) Saved it to 2018 file (If it was saved as a .bmp we re-saved it as a .jmp using Microsoft Paint)
*We had to import that picture of our self on the first 5 out of 10 sprites.
3.) Clicked on the sprite given the naem of “RAHIM” and then clicked edit.
4.) Clicked Import, Desktop, 2018, and clicked our picture
5.) We shrunk it and moved it, so that it was not on top of the sprite.
6.) Erased the extra background.
7.)Shrunk it even ore if the size wasn’t proportional with the body
8.) Clicked “SAVE”
9.) Do The Chicken Noodle Soup Dance!! :))

My Tech thoughts for today.
Today in Tech class I put my face on Mario and Luigi in my “New Mario Bros Game Wii”. First I had to take a picture with the webcam tool and then I saved it to the 2018 folder. Since the webcam tool saved it as a .bmp instead of a .jpg i had to open it on Microsoft Paint and re-saved it. Then I opened it onto my game and shrunk it so that it wouldn’t cover Mario. Then I erased all the extra background. Then I shrank it again to fit Mario’s body and size

Today In Tech:The Best!!!
Today in tech class we put our face in the “PlayWithYouFace” Scratch game. Some students had to convert their photos into a Microsoft Paint game because Webcam saved their photo as .bmp instead of a .jpg. So the students had to re-save it so that they would be able to see it.
You can also scratch up this game by putting other people in like Willow Smith, Ms.Sigler, Justin or anybody else :)

Games You Should Play… or Ignore: Scratch Video Games
Today in Tech class we played several games. I played 2 epic fails and 2 “Aweshome” ( lol Ms.Sigler) games. This Angry Birds game that I have here on top was superflippingtastic!! You used your mouse to position the bird to aim for the pig and then when you are ready to shoot you Press the A key on the keyboard. It is so cool! I recommend
Whoa I don’t even know what this game was!! Totally not video game material! It was just a bunch of ninjas floating around. I wanted a game where the ninjas kicked butt. This game was no where near that cool. I AM OFFICIALLY ALLERGIC TO THIS GAME
This game was kind of WHACK! In this game all you do if click the forward ,backwards, and the left and right keys and they do the rest for you. Then the next thing you know it THE GAME IS OVER! Please I begging you do not play this game.
This game was not that cool too. Al that was there was blank white screen. It needs a cool background and some obstacles. It was a total waste of 2 minutes. All I had to do was click the arrows and when I clicked them it didn’t even go in the direction I wanted it to.
This game was AWESHOME!!! I enjoyed slicing through the fruit with my mice. It was really graphic and totally worth my time! It also counted how many fruits I cut so it was pretty cool to see how many I can get done in the amount of time given. A totally cool game!
This was a nice Scratch dress up game. You clicked the accessories and picked anyone you wanted. You keep clicking the shoes, the clothing, and the hat. It’s a game that you would play for a really girly time. :)
Play with The face! Do all cool things with one persons face. This is a nice game for play for about 2 minutes but I don’t think its that cool. :( You only put your mice on the picture and the computer does the rest for you.

Reflection 01/12/12
Today in Tech class I got myself some student players for my “Are You Smarter than A TEAM 6th Grader” game. I went on Youtube and used the Trimester 2 Character awards video to get some screen shots of my fellow 6th grade TEAMates.
Then after I took all the screen shots I imported then as players on my game.
I also Typed in my first question about 6th grade social studies. :))))))))
Next week in tech class I am hopeing on getting more questions about what we are learning in reading,math, tech,gym,lib arts, and social studies. I also need to put in my host.. Ms.Sigler!! And change the stage to my game. :)

Today I went on Youtube to get some pictures for my game.
My first picture was a picture of my Tech teacher Ms. Sigler. She will be the host for “Are You smarter than a TEAM 6th grader.”
I didn’t get the pictures for my student players but i will get some picture of current TEAM Academy 6th graders.

Final Project- TEAM Academy Video Game by Sundia Nwadiozor
Today I picked a Scratch game that I would like to turn into a TEAM Academy advertisement game. I would like a game that shows how smart and educated our TEAMsters are. So I picked “Are You Smarter Than a 5th grader.
To turn this into a TEAM game I will change it to “Are You Smarter Than a TEAM 6th Grader.” It will hold the categories to all our core classes and will have questions to things we are learning in all our academic classes. I will use TEAM Academy 6th graders as the players and the background will be the tech class room. It will demonstrate TEAM sixth graders academic strengths.

Scrolling Demo Reflection
01/04/12
Today I made a “Scrolling Demo Game” with Princess Peach as my “Player”. First to get here into the game I went on Google and looked up Princess Peach and got a picture of her that looked like she was running. Then I went on the * Scrolling Game on Scratch and imported the picture of her. I erased all the white spots so that you could only see the outline of Ms.Peach. Then I got a crown from Google and Imported that instead of the tree that was there before. Yeah, I had to make another path and it was kind of hard because I didn’t know the exact measurement as you can see, but I tried. And to make the background all green I erased the blue one with the clouds and painted it all green. This was a really complicated but fun experience.
